PBA sets 6’6 maximum limit for imports at second conference

The PBA will have an import height limit of 6 feet 6 inches for its scheduled second conference which is expected to begin in mid-November.

Under the Limit, previous imports Justin Brownlee, Allen Durham, Eugene Phelps, KJ McDaniels, among others, are eligible to see the action.

The league is also demanding that imports be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Second PBA conference in preparation

The PBA didn’t host an import tournament last season when they managed to host only the all-Filipino conference in a bubble setup in Clark, Pampanga.

Barangay Ginebra were the latest team to win a conference featuring imports as Brownlee led the Kings to the 2019 Governors Cup crown against Durham and the Meralco Bolts just months before global COVID-19 hit.

However, the league is still coordinating with national and local governments on how to deal with imports playing into the country given the current health pandemic.
