Fintech Payments Checkout.com Continues Executive Expansion with New Director of Marketing and New Director of Human Resources

International payment provider Checkout.com reveals he named Leela Srinivasan as director of marketing and Kerry Van Voris as director of human resources, two “appointments of training executives on the company’s exponential growth path”.

The Checkout.com announcement also noted that the news “is coming on T. Rowe Price’s heels Celine Dufetel join as CFO of the company just a few weeks ago, as well as Ott kaukver as CTO and Nick worswick as a CRO earlier in the year. It “also diversifies the bench of management, women executives now representing 55% of the management team”, according to a press release.

As part of this recent expansion, Checkout.com also named the Pete Farr as VP People Operations, and DocuSign’s Adrien wainwright as vice president of global communications.

Srinivasan, Director of Technology Marketing, joins Checkout.com after working on the Momentive Experience Management platform (formerly SurveyMonkey), where she worked as a CMO for 3.5 years. She was previously the Marketing Director of the Lever recruitment platform and “held senior marketing positions at LinkedIn and OpenTable.” She is notably a member of the board of directors of International Work Market Upwork.

Tech human resources leader Van Voris is expected to join later this year from healthcare tech provider Oscar Health, where she worked as Chief People Officer for four years and “led the company until its recent IPO”. Prior to Oscar Health, Van Voris “held senior positions at Amazon, Bridgewater and Microsoft”.

Van Voris noted:

The two new leaders will be “based in Checkout.com’s New York office, joining more than 1,500 colleagues from 19 offices around the world.”

As stated earlier, Checkout.com aims to help businesses adapt and innovate. The company’s technology is designed to make payments “transparent for brands like Klarna, Virgin, Revolut, Farfetch, Shein, Grab and many more.”

Flexible solutions, granular data and instant information “help global companies launch new products into new markets and create exceptional customer experiences.”

Checkout.com claims it offers “the fastest, most reliable payments in over 150 currencies, with in-country acquisition, world-class fraud filters, and reporting through a single API.”

Checkout.com is able to take “all major international credit and debit cards, as well as popular alternative and local payment methods.” The company launched its activities in 2012 and now has “a team of more than 1,500 people in 19 offices around the world, providing local expertise where it is needed”.
