Dozens of new companies sign agreements to exhibit at import fair

More and more companies have registered for the fifth session of the China International Import Expo to be held in 2022.

On Thursday, 49 days before this year’s show, dozens of foreign companies and institutions signed agreements to participate in the 5th CIIE in 2022.

Companies and institutions include household names in the home appliance industry, including Panasonic Corporations and BSH Hausgeräte; trading in service companies such as Orix Group, SGS and CBRE Group; consumer goods companies such as Amore Pacific, Estée Lauder and Kao Corporation; and medical companies such as Merck Sharp & Dohme, AstraZeneca, and Johnson & Johnson.

The 5th session of the exhibition aroused great interest from foreign companies, said the offices of the China International Import Exhibition.

He said that more companies and institutions around the world hope to expand their business in the Chinese market through the CIIE platform and seize new opportunities in the rapid and high-quality development of the country.

Among more than 200 member companies of the CIIE Enterprise Alliance, more than 30 have taken the lead in signing agreements to participate in the 5th expo.
